When the Leading International Trade Show for Fitness, Wellness and Health opens its doors in Cologne for the first time on 11 April 2013, the entire industry is looking forward to one thing most of all: seeing the latest, most innovative product developments by the approximately 650 exhibitors from all parts of the world. On three of these public attention will focus particularly on the FIBO Friday: the winners of the FIBO INNOVATION AWARD. This is when FIBO will award the much coveted prize for the 14th time, in cooperation with an independent expert jury chaired by the TÜV Rheinland Group and in cooperation with the FIT FOR FUN magazine. The jury will consist of sports scientists, sports physicians and journalists.
Innovative products like the "Power Plate" vibration machine, the portable personal training device "my wellnes key" by Technogym, which assists people exercising at the studio as well as at home or the innovative "Cube Sports" modular exercise system: they all started out on their triumphal course through the industry with the golden quality seal of the FIBO INNOVATION AWARD. In 2013, FIBO exhibitors can again enter those of their products that represent an innovative development for the entire industry and have not been on the market for more than one year.
In each of the three categories of Training Equipment, Health Promotion and Design&Kommunikation, three products meeting these requirements will be nominated for the prize at the beginning of March and be awarded the Silver Seal. These products will be displayed at the INNOVATION FORUM for the entire duration of the trade show. At the premiere in Cologne, the INNOVATION FORUM will be given a completely new design and be located in Hall 9 immediately adjacent to the Company Health Management lecture forum. For the first time, it will include a lounge area with seating where visitors can find out more about the nominated products on display and exchange views in a relaxed atmosphere.
On the second day of the trade show, Friday 12 April in the afternoon, the eyes of the expert community and the media will be on the winners at the FIBO INNOVATION FORUM in Hall 9. This is when the expert jury will announce the winners in each of the categories and award them the much coveted prize and the Golden Seal. As a result, the award is not only interesting for the winners but also for the nominees since they, too, will be presented to the expert community and the visitors to the trade show!
As well as being on display at the INNOVATION FORUM, BODY BIKE Connect will also be found at the HDD Group booth D/07 in Hall 8 where it will be possible to test it.
